Pastor Ron and his wife, Lorna, have been serving together in full time ministry for over 40 years.

From 1981 to 2008, Pastor Ron was Senior Pastor of Salem Heights Church in Salem, Oregon. Prior to that, he pastored in Cherry Grove and Seaside, Oregon learning the trials and joys of pastoring a small church. Lorna’s exceptional musical talent has been a vital part of their ministry.

Pastor Ron and Lorna have three grown sons, three wonderful daughters-in-law and nine precious grandchildren. They are very devoted to their family. Married in June of 1963, their marriage has been both inspiring and God-honoring. They are best friends.

Strong biblical teaching and a passion to serve God’s people have been the strengths of Pastor Ron’s ministry. His desire to mentor pastors and their wives is the motivation for STEPS* ministry.
