Our Children's Ministry

Sunday School

– A learning time that happens on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. The learning is just right for each child’s age. The young ones have a morning of Bible learning, hands-on crafts, music, singing and singing with hand motions – all with an aim to teach that morning’s focus in a variety of methods so the truth is caught. Grade school students have a variety of learning activities. Their morning includes Bible learning, music and a craft— but at a level that piques their interest.

Children’s Church

– If you’ve wondered what your young ones will do during the 10:45 am Morning Service, your answer is Children’s Church. This is a blend of the Sunday School format with the energy of
a Vacation Bible School. The overall goal is learning — boys and girls, age 2 thru grade 2,
learning about the God who loves them, the God who wants them to be part of His forever
family in heaven, and the God who wants them to make choices today that will please Him.

Christmas Program

– The timeless story of Jesus’ birth told through actors and actresses, musicians, and spokespersons of the younger variety. The format varies year to year, but you can count on hearing what happened that silent night when Jesus left His throne above and was away in the manger in that little town of Bethlehem—it really is a joy to the world!

Vacation Bible School      Soccer Camp

– Everyone likes the word “vacation.” This vacation spot requires no visa, plane reservations or hotel lodging. This vacation opportunity, sandwiched between the school years, is for children ages 3 through those entering grade 6. It’s a week crammed full of the sights, sounds, tastes, touch and smells of learning Bible truths. Teachers are often in costume, snacks have a new twist (building a wall like Josiah with marshmallows and chocolate pudding!), the music reminds us of the week’s lessons. Games are played, and at times the classroom gets to be outdoors.
